Our Story
Moss Media was born originally during Covid in 2020. Our Founder, Sonya Moss-Bellamy, was abroad In Australia during a time where people were experiencing severe loneliness due to social distancing. She had one friend abroad, a friend that became a sister and encouraged her to paint in the immense free time the state of the world had gifted them. At the time, we had both strayed from the truth of the gospel— but little did we know, it would not be for long. Painting became this way of reconnecting with God— finding peace in the silence; in the stillness. Creating with color birthed a new world, a different world than the state of the one they were in. A world that was desperately needed. At Moss Media, we hear your vision attentively to birth it for you. Today, we make art accessible. We help others remember to live in color, to live in the truth, to live in the light— to remember what it is like to live. We make you a memory, a daily reminder to dwell well— to be an alive with intention.
Our Approach
We believe that art assist people in coming back to life. Many people walk around amongst the living— yes. But does that mean they are alive? Absolutely not. People are walking around without eyes to see or ears to hear— they don’t notice their neighbors nor do they truly know themselves. We work to be this bright reminder for them that brilliant things can be born from their existence— starting with art.
Our Services
We offer a range of creations, mostly using oil. These creations can be made on wood, canvas or parchment. They vary in size, detail, subject and therefore vary in price. Interested buyers can either choose a range of art created by the founder daily or submit their own vision for creation. Our target audience is everyone, so let us work with your budget!
